Decking Installation

We were contacted by this customer as the existing decking they had was in disrepair. We carried out a site visit and measured the area to be replaced. We then provided a written quotation to complete a new install with the old decking being removed from site. 

Once the quote was accepted we booked in the work and ordered the materials. 

We arrived to site and set about the task. We started by taking out the old decking, then we cleared the area of debris and unwanted matter. 

We then set the area to be decked by placing our corner posts and setting it so the area was 'square'. We then framed the area with 4" x 2" treated timber. We added extra support by putting in crossed sections. We also laid an underlayer of membrane to suppress any growth of weeds. 

Once the frame was completed we added posts set in the ground to support the frame and give it a solid standing. Once secure we then added the decking boards to the top and face of the area to give a smart crisp finish.
