We were recently contacted to carry out a dismantle of a large shed/outbuilding, take down an old collapsing fence and the supply and erect a new fence.
We carried out a site visit to assess the work, we spent some time assessing the shed so we could work out the safest method of dismantling, along with measuring the length of new fencing to be installed.
Works were planned, materials were calculated and we provided the client, as we do with all quotes, a fixed price quote. The quote was accepted and a date set.
We arranged for materials to be delivered to site to save time in collecting and whilst we waited for the delivery we set about dismantling the shed and old fence. Once the shed and fence were dismantled removed all from site and cleared the area ready for the erecting of the new fence.
The new fence was constructed from 8ft wooden posts, a gravel board and feather edge boards with capping set on top to finish of the fence with some style.
Each of the posts was set in the ground with a mix of sand and cement and the rails securely fastened with screws.
The end results were and solid constructed fence and a very happy customer who has booked us to carry out the fencing on the other side of her garden already.
